Rastriya Beema Company Limited (Bima Pradhikaran), a government-owned entity located in Ramshahpath, Kathmandu, Nepal, has announced a vacancy for the year 2081. The company is seeking to fill permanent positions through an internal and open competitive examination process conducted by the Public Service Commission.

Eligibility and Qualifications
The company is inviting applications from candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Internal Competition
Candidates applying for the internal competition must fulfill the qualifications as per Regulation 27 of the company’s staff service, terms, and conditions regulations, 2074 (including the first amendment in 2078).
Open Competition
For the open posts, the qualifications are specified in Regulation 15 of the company’s staff service, terms, and conditions regulations.
The minimum educational qualifications and experience required for the various positions are as follows:
Administration, Legal Officer, 7th Level
- Graduated from a law school that was recognised with a master’s degree in law.
Administration, Assistant Administrator, 6th Level
- At least Master’s degree or Chartered Accountancy or equivalent in any one of management, insurance, economics, science, agriculture and animal science, statistics, law, or information technology from a recognized educational institution.
Administration, Assistant “A”, 5th Level
- graduated in any field—management, economics, science, agriculture and animal science, statistics, law, information technology, or insurance from a recognised institution.
Administration, Assistant “B”, 4th Level
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent with accounting or information technology as the main subject from a recognized educational institution.
Agricultural Technical “B”, 4th Level
- S.L.C./S.E.E. from a recognized educational institution.
- Passed minimum 1 year JTA (Agriculture Science) training or TSLC with agriculture subject.
- Passed and started working in the insurance sector.
Examination Process
The examination process for the vacant positions will consist of the following components:
- Written Examination: The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission, and the medium of the examination will be as prescribed in the syllabus for the respective post.
- Practical Examination: A practical examination may be conducted as part of the selection process, as specified in the syllabus.
- Interview: Candidates who qualify the written and practical examinations will be called for an interview.
The date and center of the written examination will be as specified by the Public Service Commission.
Application Fee
The application fee for the various levels of posts is as follows:
- For level-6 and 7 posts: Rs. 800/- (eight hundred)
- For level 5 and 4 posts: Rs. 500/- (five hundred)
Additionally, for candidates applying in the additional advertisement towards the inclusive group under the open category, the following additional fees apply:
- For level-6 or above posts: Rs. 300/- (three hundred) for each group
- For level 4 and 5 posts: Rs. 300/- (three hundred) for each group
The application fee should be submitted through the company’s online application system (Esewa).
Application Deadline
The last date for submission of applications is 2081/02/10, and the deadline for double payment is 2081/02/17.
Age Limit
The age limit for the various positions is as follows:
- Officer Level: Completion of 21 years and not exceeding 35 years
- Assistant Level: 18 years old to 35 years old, maximum
- Candidates who are women or disabled and are under 40 years old
The age limit mentioned above does not apply to permanent employees working in the company.
Application Submission and Required Documents
Candidates should apply through the company’s online application system (www.rbcl.gov.np/career). The following documents should be uploaded in PDF/JPG/PNG format:
- Nepali Citizenship Certificate
- Educational Qualification (Foreign University or equivalent in case of educational qualification obtained from an educational institution)
- Experience
- Opening documents for the inclusive group, such as those listed in the applicable advertisement
The accuracy of the information submitted on the application is the candidate’s responsibility.
Salary, Facilities, and Service Conditions
The salary, facilities, and other conditions of service will be as per the company’s employee service conditions regulations, 2074 (including the first amendment in 2078).
Special Instructions for Inclusive Group Candidates
Candidates applying under the inclusive group category must submit additional documents as per the following requirements:
Tribal/Indigenous Tribes
Candidates belonging to the tribal tribes listed in the Nepal Adivasi Janajati Utthan Rastriya Pratisthan Act must submit a certificate from the Chief District Officer, issued on the recommendation of the head of the local level, confirming that their surname is within the caste listed in the Act.
Dalits
Candidates belonging to the castes listed by the National Dalit Commission must submit a certificate from the Chief District Officer, issued on the recommendation of the head of the local level, confirming that their surname is within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission.
Madhesi
Candidates claiming to be Madhesi must submit a certificate from the Chief District Officer, issued on the recommendation of the head of the relevant local level, until the Government of Nepal publishes a notice in the Nepal Gazette designating the prescribed institution to certify Madhesi status.
Miscellaneous Instructions
- The minimum educational qualification, service period, age, and experience must be completed by the last date of application submission. Double duty periods will not be counted for this purpose.
- Applications without the prescribed fee, submitted after the specified time limit, or not meeting the minimum qualifications will not be accepted.
- Candidates who have received educational qualifications from foreign institutions must have the equivalence determined by the relevant agency and upload the document within the last date of application.
- Candidates must compulsorily disclose the open and inclusive group they are applying under.
- Candidates must use only black ink in the written examination.
- The updated syllabus for the advertised posts can be obtained from the company’s website (https://www.rbcl.gov.np).
- Candidates must download their complete citizenship certificate and admit card from the company’s online application system before appearing for the written examination.
- Candidates must not be disqualified according to Regulation 16 for the open competition and Regulation 27 for the internal competition.
